JB80T — 80-Channel BNC Junction Box
At a glance
  • 80 channels, 5 rows × 16 — the largest model in the family
  • Screw-fixed cover as standard, as photographed
  • Chassis build (hinged, lockable, zoned) available as a configuration option
  • BNC female-to-female panel-mount, one per channel
  • ±0.1 dB flatness, 10 Hz–20 kHz
  • 1-year warranty
Specifications
Channels 80
Panel layout 5 rows × 16 as designed; channel count (80) and row/column grid confirmed via the panel legend and serial text, which render cleanly — the fine per-connector digits have legibility defects, see note below
Form factor T-series build, flat top panel, as standard; chassis build (hinged/lockable/zoned) offered as an option
Connector BNC, female-to-female, panel-mount, ×80
Cover Screw-fixed flat top panel, no hinge, standard — hinged/lockable optional
Mounting Rubber feet, standard — rack ears or castor stand optional
Cable glands Not visible in this model's source image (side wall not shown); if zoned, 1 gland per 16-channel zone (5 zones), matching JB64T's convention
Zoning None, as photographed — zoned grouping available on request
Footprint Largest enclosure in the family; floor or dedicated bench recommended (indicative — not a measured dimension)
Flatness ±0.1 dB, 10 Hz – 20 kHz
Contact resistance ≤ 5 mΩ
Insulation resistance ≥ 1000 MΩ
Warranty 12 months

The JB80T panel is designed to carry channels 01–80 across five rows of sixteen, on the same black powder-coated, screw-fixed, flat top panel construction as the rest of the studio-rendered T-series models.

The source image for this specific model has legibility defects in the fine print: the digits 41, 29, 63 and 78 each appear twice within their row, one label in the 65–69 range renders as a garbled, illegible glyph rather than a clean number, and the TIERA logo wordmark is visibly distorted compared to every other studio-rendered model. The channel count (80) and the 5×16 grid are reliable — both are confirmed by the large, cleanly-rendered “80 CHANNEL JUNCTION BOX” legend and the S/N JB80T26001 serial. The individual small-print channel numbers are not reliable and should not be used as a reference for the exact numbering scheme without verification against a physical unit or a corrected image.

At 80 channels, this is the largest array TIERA has built to date in this family. As with JB48T and JB60T, the chassis-configured build — hinged lockable lid, zoned panel with 16-channel groups matching the JB64T convention, dual-face marking, and an optional castor stand — is available as a configuration option rather than shown here as standard.

This is a passive assembly with no active device in the signal path. THD and noise-floor figures (≤ 0.001% / ≤ −120 dBV, reported on request) are null-result measurements confirming the assembly adds no detectable distortion or noise above a calibrated analyser’s own floor — not a spec the box “achieves” the way an active instrument would.

Typical applications

  • Large-array aircraft-structure and SHM installations
  • Full-aircraft or full-fixture modal surveys needing the family’s largest channel count
  • End-of-line test benches with a large, fixed sensor layout

See current pricing and configuration options on the TIERA store.

Pairs with:

  • Junction Box family — full line-up, configuration matrix and electrical spec
  • JB64T — the chassis-configured build, worked example
