The JB08T panel arranges channels 01–08 across two rows of four, with the same legend convention as the rest of the family: TIERA logo top-left, model code and serial number top-right, channel numbers beside each BNC, and the panel legend 8 CHANNEL JUNCTION BOX along the lower edge. The cover is screw-fixed on a flat top panel, with no hinge — the standard T-series build shown across the studio-rendered models.
Eight channels cover a small modal test grid, a compact microphone array, or a fixture instrumented on a handful of points — enough to need some panel organisation, not enough to justify zoning.
Electrical specification
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Flatness | ±0.1 dB, 10 Hz – 20 kHz |
| Contact resistance | ≤ 5 mΩ |
| Insulation resistance | ≥ 1000 MΩ |
| Connector | BNC, female-to-female, panel-mount bulkhead |
This is a passive assembly with no active device in the signal path. THD and noise-floor figures (≤ 0.001% / ≤ −120 dBV, reported on request) are null-result measurements confirming the assembly adds no detectable distortion or noise above a calibrated analyser’s own floor — not a spec the box “achieves” the way an active instrument would.
Typical applications
- Small modal test point grids
- Compact microphone or accelerometer arrays
- Fixture instrumentation where 8 channels is the whole requirement
