The JB48T panel carries channels 01–48 in four rows of twelve, continuously numbered with no zone dividers, on a black powder-coated steel enclosure. Its standard cover is the same screw-fixed, flat top panel construction as every smaller studio-rendered T-series model — no hinge, no lock. There is no difference in build convention between this unit and JB24T; the difference is scale.
Forty-eight channels is where TIERA starts offering the chassis-configured alternative described on the family page: a hinged, lockable lid with a folding lid-support stay, the panel divided into zones with one cable gland per zone, dual-face port marking, and an optional wheeled castor stand. That build is a configuration option available from this channel count up, realised as standard on the 64-channel tender unit, JB64T.

This is a passive assembly with no active device in the signal path. THD and noise-floor figures (≤ 0.001% / ≤ −120 dBV, reported on request) are null-result measurements confirming the assembly adds no detectable distortion or noise above a calibrated analyser’s own floor — not a spec the box “achieves” the way an active instrument would.
