Sensors and cables are the first points where measurement quality is either protected or lost. TIERA stocks a range of IEPE accelerometers covering the most common field requirements: general-purpose, compact for tight spaces, low-frequency for slow machinery (pumps, fans, gearboxes below 10 Hz), and high-sensitivity industrial-grade units. The 130F20 ICP® electret array microphone extends the system into acoustic measurements — sound level, octave-band analysis, and spatial mapping when combined with PhonoVibe multi-channel DAQ systems.
All cables in the TIERA accessory range are designed for industrial environments. Low-noise coaxial construction (CA-101) minimises triboelectric noise — the spurious signal that appears when cable jacket flexes under vibration. Armored stainless-steel outer cables (CA-103) suit installations near moving machinery where cable damage is a risk. Mounting accessories include a solid SS304 triaxial block for permanent installations and a quick-release magnetic mount for walk-around route-based data collection.
