YMC 81 series charge amplifiers convert the charge output by a piezoelectric sensor into a proportional voltage, used as the input variable for analysis systems and digitised by an A/D converter if required. A charge amplifier consists of an inverting voltage amplifier with high open-loop gain and capacitive negative feedback, using a MOSFET or JFET input to achieve high insulation resistance and minimal leakage current. With sufficiently high open-loop gain, cable and sensor capacitance can be neglected, leaving the output voltage dependent only on the input charge and the range capacitor.

YMC 8101 — Miniature Charge Amplifier
For industrial use — rugged, sealed case, various connection facilities, also available with range adjusted to a specific sensor. Its rugged construction suits on-site installation in machine monitoring systems.
YMC 8102A / 8102T — General Testing Charge Amplifier
Low-noise charge amplifier with gain, high pass and low pass normalised, external regulation, voltage (V) and charge (PE) input modes, positive and negative power supply converter. 8102A is the desktop type, 8102T the panel mounted type.
YMC 8103 — Multi-channel Charge Amplifier
Assembled multi-channel (4, 6 or 8 channels); small size, high integration; three decimal-system uniformisation output (1-10 pC/UNIT); switchable gain and LPF; low noise and wide frequency band (0.3 to 100 kHz); low price, suitable for multi-point test; overload indication.
YMC 8102 — Multi-mode & Double-integrator Charge Amplifier
Multiple input types — charge, voltage, IEPE; optional gain, high-pass and low-pass filters, sensitivity uniformisation; built-in double integrator circuit for acceleration, displacement and velocity; switchable gain, LPF, HPF, sensitivity normalised; charge and voltage input; internal battery and external power supply.
YMC 8102B — High Precision Charge Amplifier
4-bit normalised sensitivity adjustment, low noise, high accuracy, high stability; charge (PE), voltage (V), IEPE and other inputs; gain, high-pass, low-pass normalised multi-step adjustable; for precision measurement and calibration.
YMC 8104 — Multi-Channel High Precision Charge Amplifier
True-colour LCD touch screen with 6 setting keys; multi-bit normalised sensitivity adjustment, low noise, high precision, high stability; gain, high pass, low pass normalised multi-speed adjustable; multi-stage high and low filter function; primary and secondary integration function; signal amplitude display and overload indication; built-in self-calibration.
