It extends the TMFSS Macro simulator to blade interference and its effects — vibration, noise, and damage to the machine — so that these can be studied in detail. Running it shows how blades behave when they interfere, and both what causes a blade-hitting event and what follows from one. That matters most in industries running turbines, fans and compressors, or any machinery where blade integrity and alignment are critical to operation. The simulation gives a controlled environment in which to investigate how misalignment, wear and operating error affect blade performance and machine health.
