Models covered
For sensors that use stud mounting, just adjust the drill depth based on the number of threads you plan to tap. With a 500 RPM right-angle drill, carefully drill and spot face the area, then proceed to tap the threads. When preparing a machine surface for adhesive mounting pads, simply reduce the drill depth to its lowest setting and use the tool to create a smooth, flat surface ideal for bonding.
