Certified Vibration Analyst ISO 18436 CAT II

A comprehensive ISO 18436-2 Category II analyst program across nine modules, with TOLearnVibe simulation, study guides and live class recordings for advanced fault diagnosis.

This ISO 18436-2 compliant Category II program builds on Category I fundamentals to develop a working analyst capable of acquiring, interpreting and acting on vibration data. It is an affordable, in-depth course for industry and academia, taught self-paced and reinforced with the TOLearnVibe vibration simulator, downloadable study guides, worked examples and a glossary.

Across nine modules the course covers vibration fundamentals and the time waveform, phase, transducers and routine measurement, maintenance practices and condition monitoring, then progresses to vibration analysis and the detailed diagnosis of machine faults — imbalance and eccentricity, misalignment, looseness, resonance, rolling-element bearings and the nine stages of bearing failure, electric-motor faults, gearboxes, and belt-and-coupling drives. A dedicated Signal Processing module pairs theory (sampling, aliasing, windowing, dynamic range, averaging) with TOLearnVibe simulation exercises for FFT, signal generation, anti-aliasing and spectral leakage. A series of live class recordings walks through the full vibration analysis process end to end.

Path to certification

The course concludes with a verifiable completion certificate. ISO 18436-2 Category II certification is awarded through a separate proctored online exam — a three-hour paper with a 75% cut-off — and requires eighteen months of verifiable experience. A bundle option adds the certification exam for ₹95,000; to begin the certification process, contact info@tieraonline.in.
